Remove your old lens and bulb, insert the socket and put the screws back in. These tail lights have 39 red LEDs. They use epoxy coated, fully sealed electronics on solid state circuit boards. All the LEDs light up for tail lights and all get brighter for stop/turn. These appear stock until you look close. The LEDs are instant on and off. Almost unnatural! They are so fast NHRA had to re-calculate the Christmas Tree when they converted. Low current so they run cool. Tremendous life span. They measure about 5" X 1 3/4" X 3/4".
